Attached is an important message explaining the dates and list of units that will be affected by the seal coating process. PLLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO MAP AND SCEDULE PROVIDED TO YOU IN THIS MESSAGE AS PER ATTACHED!!

If you must drive the day your unit is affected, please park outside the designated work area the night before and walk to your car then drive in only the designated areas!! If everyone cooperates as per instructions this process will go smoothly!!

The election package that you received in the mail does not include a proxy envelope. However,
this is not an issue as proxy envelopes are not used in director elections.

The Annual Meeting and Election of Directors will be held at the Citrus Villas Clubhouse at 7:00
PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Ballot counting will commence shortly after the meeting starts.
No ballots will be accepted once counting begins.

REVISED INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Vote for the up to 2 candidates of your choice by placing and ☒ or next to their
name. DO NOT MAKE ANY MAKE ANY IDENTIFING MARKS ON THE BALLOT.
2. Place the completed ballot in the small envelope marked “BALLOT” then seal it.
3. Complete the Voting Certificate. Each parcel is limited to a single voter, regardless of
the number of owners. The designated voting member must print and sign their name
as the authorized voter. In the following section, all owners must provide their
signatures to confirm and authorize that individual as the official voter
BALLOTS WITHOUT A COMPLETED VOTING CERTIFICATE WILL NOT BE COUNTED.
4. Place the ballot envelope and the voting certificate in the mailing envelope. You may
submit your ballot in one of 3 ways. The Voting Member may:
1) submit their ballot in person at the meeting, or
2) send their ballot via US Mail in the envelope provided, or
3) hand the sealed completed ballot in person to Vice President Steve Browning.
DO NOT GIVE YOUR BALLOT TO ANY CANDIDATE LISTED ON THE BALLOT.
NO BALLOTS WILL BE ACCEPTED ONCE COUNTING BEGINS.

The Annual Meeting and election of Directors for the Villas of Citrus Springs Homeowners Association, Inc. will take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 7:00 pm at the Villas of Citrus Springs Clubhouse.

Two Director positions will be voted on.

The candidates for the 2025-2027 term are:

*Artie Maclay
Darlene Silverstein
(the asterisk denotes an incumbent)

A voting package that includes a voting certificate and a ballot will be mailed to you.

On Thursday, March 20, Pajamas and Pearls will resume at 7pm at the Villas Clubhouse.  The movie this month is “The Lake House” with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves.  As usual, it is BYOD and snack to share, if you choose.  For those of you that are new to the Villas, we try to show a movie once a month for the Ladies and we wear pajamas and pearls (casual attire/Dollar Store beads!!!!

The March birthday ladies have decided to go to the Green Marlin on March 28th (12 noon!).

The sign-up sheet is on the Clubhouse kitchen bulletin board.  The deadline to sign up is March 25th.

Come celebrate the March birthdays!!

It appears that the Clubhouse and Pool will not be open for the upcoming week.  The Clubhouse painting is almost complete, however the pool deck has not yet been painted.  It will be three days after the deck is painted before the deck furniture can be moved from the interior of the Clubhouse to the deck and people can walk on it.

Those of you that have recurring functions at the Clubhouse may want to make alternate arrangements.

Keep the Date –  The March Thirsty Thursday will be held on March13th and hosted by Sandy Sloan and Lynn West (our newest resident!).  

The theme will be centered around St. Patty’s Day so it should be lots of fun.

Please bring an appetizer to share and whatever you’d like to drink. (4:00 -6:00 PM).

Part of the painting contract allowed for a pint can of white paint and a pint can of your house color paint to be given to each resident in the Villas.

We have been notified by the contractor that these two cans of paint will be delivered next Monday or Tuesday to the side entry-way of your house.

Please be on the look-out for them.

The Villas Clubhouse and Pool area will be closed until further notice, beginning this coming Friday, February 21st, for painting of the building and pool deck.

An email will be sent out when the Clubhouse and Pool are open again.

Beginning next week (the week of February 9th) Fred will be available to meet with residents on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 am.  This is a permanent change.  He will no longer be available on Thursday mornings.

Paul and Catherine Jan will be hosting Thirsty Thursday for February.  The date is February 13, 4 to 6 PM at the Villas Clubhouse.

It’s BYOB and an appetizer to share.

We’re looking forward to hopefully meeting some of our new residents!

The Ladies in the Villas are hosting the Master Ladies Luncheon on January 29.  A planning meeting will be held in the Villas Clubhouse at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 22nd.  If you are interested in helping out with the luncheon, please attend the planning meeting or contact Stasia (631-926-3062).

Happy New Year!

Ron and Sue Brooks have volunteered to host the first Thirsty Thursday of the New Year on Thursday, January 9th at the Villas Clubhouse, 4 to 6 PM.  Please bring an appetizer to share and it is BYOB.

We’re hoping to see some of our newer residents in attendance.

If you would like to volunteer to host the Thirsty Thursday in either February or March, please send me an email.
